  • Lumber Rumble was made in collaboration with Berry Hermans, Merlijn van den Akker en Rick Voermans and was created during the Ludum Dare #26 contest, over a span of three days. I would recommend participating in the Ludum Dare or any game jam. I learned a lot while working on this game, and had a lot of fun doing so. Lumber Rumble is a game that was created in just three days during the Ludum Dare game jam, and I am pretty proud of what we have made in this short time. The theme was minimalistic, and it was our choice to minimize the controls and gameplay. That's why you can play the game using only the W,A,S,D keys. It was a bit of a challenge to create a game with minmal gameplay, but I believe we made a pretty good first game jam game. The game is about the lumberjack Jack, who just finished cutting down some trees. Now he needs to traverse an army of bears, bear traps, rivers and tree roots to get home.
